Early Life and Career
Kepler Laveran de Lima Ferreira, name Pepe, was born on February 26, 1983, in Maceió, Brazil. He started with the local club C.S. Alagoano, before moving on to Portugal to play at Marítimo. His performances drew the eye from FC Porto, where he would go on to make his reputation.

Club Career
FC Porto (2004-2007) Pepe finished his initial career with FC Porto in 2004, soon managing to establish himself as an important member in the defensive part. He was, during his times of play with Porto, a winner of many Primeira Liga offenses, which enabled Porto to enter into winning the UEFA Champions League in 2004. It earned him the sign of recognition as one of the strongest defenders in Europe.

Real Madrid (2007-2017) In 2007, Pepe transferred to Real Madrid, where he would spend a full decade and forge his legacy. With Real Madrid, along which he has won/up until this day:
