“I should have gone to Euro 2024,” claimed Grealish

Since the departure of Gareth Southgate, Jack Grealish has been one of the new faces in the England team. The winger missed the last European Championship due to a tactical decision and is still bitter about it.

In an interview with the BBC, he mused: “I wasn’t very happy about it. I didn’t have my best season, but you add a bit of balance in all positions of the pitch, and I now consider myself a pretty experienced player.”

On the other hand, Grealish showered praise on the interim coach Lee Carsley when he said, “I obviously wanted to come here and train well and play well. I thank Lee Carsley for giving me that opportunity and having that faith in me.”

“Tremendously, it meant a lot to me. Throughout my career, when I have played for coaches who have backed me and communicated with me like he did the last two camps, it really helps me. When a coach, you really value a lot, communicates with you, you see it in my play. I can’t speak highly enough of him since I’ve been here,” Grealish concluded.
